    A DOG'S FIRST MLB GAME

My name is Homer.  I think my Pawrents named me that because my Dad hit a lot of home runs when they got me.

My GMa Pawrent and my GGMa Pawrent have already shared their memories of their first MLB game so I asked if I could share mine.

When I was 1-1/2 years old I asked my Pawrents if I could go see Dad play.  My Mom said that the Cincinatti Reds were having a "Bark In The Park" event at their Great American Ball Park.

We piled into the car for the 5 hour drive -me in my "car kennel" which I detest.  My preferred method of travel is to fly first class!!

I fly first-class because I spent time in "Triple A" Service Dog training to become a "MLB" Service Dog which I currently am.

I enjoyed the Canine Section at the Great American Stadium!  There were lots of freebies for me and my fellow canine fans.

Having enjoyed myself so much, I look forward to more Barks In The Park nights next season!

BUT THERE'S MORE. . .

I RECENTLY LEARNED OF "BRUCE THE BAT DOG"

Bruce the Bat Dog has been called up by the Nationals

and I want to go and graduate from Bat Dog School during the MLB Off-Season.  I know if I ask, I shall receive.  (I've got my Pawrents wrapped around my not-so-little paw)!
So maybe - just maybe - I too can go "to the show" next season for my Dad's team.

BARK BIG OR DON'T BARK AT ALL. . .

Hope to see you next season when you all clamor for a pup-in-the park to assist the author of this blog with "A Canine Perspective"
on "A Manly Pastime!"
